Indonesia
Island:
Pulau is an island.
Kepulauan is a group of islands or an archipelago consists of 13.677 islands.
The most densely populated island of the country is Java. Approximately 60 per cent of Indonesia’s people live here.
The People:
Indonesia is the fifth most populous nation in the world, with more than 300 different ethnic groups and 600 different languages and dialects.
Customs:
Adat means law, and is the traditional law of behavior and wisdom.
Right hand used for eating, passing, receiving, indicating, and touching.
Left hand considered unclean and not to be used for above listed uses of right hand.
Pointing with fingers or toes is rude. Use the right thumb.
Religions:
90 % or more of Indonesian are Muslim.
Jakarta
Jakarta is Ibukota
Ibukota is mother city or the capital city of a country.
In Indonesia the names of popular heroes are used to name many of the street and the airport.
